I have a situation where I believe my child's mother is breaking against the existing contract of a court order that was placed back in 2007. I feel that I am paying to much for child support and I would like to know what I can do to close out the child support and just pay back the back pay? Also would like to know how can I go about getting a legal documentation for either joint or shared custody or is it about the same?

I think that the best thing you can do for yourself is to go have a full discussion with a family attorney. Your questions are confusing, I would not know what you can do to close out the child support and just pay back the back pay without learning a lot more about your case. I would need to read the relevant court orders and any agreements in order to assist you. You might already have shared parental responsibility, I cannot tell from what you have written.
