Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. (MALS) provides free legal assistance in civil (non criminal) matters to persons in Fayette, Lauderdale, Shelby and Tipton counties in Tennessee. Most of our services are only available to low income or elderly persons.

2SLAC - 2nd Saturday Legal Clinic (formerly Saturday Legal Clinic) is held the second Saturday of each month from 10:00-11:45 am at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN.

VETERANS' PRO BONO CLINIC
A legal clinic to assist veterans is held on the second Tuesday of each month on the 11th floor of 1407 Union Ave. from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. Volunteer attorneys provide advice to veterans on matters such as child support, expungement of criminal record, driver's license revocation, and debts. Attorneys cannot provide advice on veterans' benefits.
