Question:
My lease ended on January 31st by mutual agreement
with the Landlord and we left the unit in good conditions (he rented it
again on February 1st). The Landlord did not file any claim against us for
damages to the property but he has not refunded my security deposit.($2500) What can I do?

In addition, I suggest writing a formal letter to the landlord requesting return of the security deposit prior to filing any claim in court. There is always a chance you may be able to avoid having to go to small claims court.
